Heirlooms
(2025)

Work created for the My Heritage project with the Council for British Archeology and Photoworks.

When fragments of the past are found in the modern world, how do we understand them? Can we ever understand them impartially? Heirlooms explores the liminal space between scientific impartiality and the spiritual significance that fragments of the deep past hold for our collective understanding of heritage. The medium of photography, mirrors this liminal space, capturing a world that’s not quite fact or fiction.
